Directions

Loughrea - From Shannon take the N18 towards Galway. Follow this until you reach a town called Gort (approx 45 mins) As you enter the outskirts of town look out for a sign for the N66 to Loughrea. The turning will be on your right. Take this turn and follow until you reach Loughrea (approx 30mins.) From Dublin take the N4 out of town and continue unitl you find the N6 towards Galway (involves a toll booth) Continue on the N6 unitl you reach Loughrea (approx 2 and half hours) St Brendan's Cathedral, Loughrea If coming in from Gort then as you enter Loughrea look out for the Stat Oil petrol station. Take the road off to the right sign posted R357 Woodford. This is Barrack Street the Cathedral is approx 500 meters up on the right. If coming from Dublin follow the main road into the town. You'll pass a Shell Garage on your right, followed by O'Dea's Hotel. Take the left turn opposite O'Dea's Hotel signposted The Long Point (narrow turning) The cathedral is approx 500 meters up this road on the cross junction. Meadow Court Hotel Located on the N6 just outside Craughwell. If travelling from Loughrea, take the N6 towards Galway. You'll find the hotel on the right after approx 10 mins drive.
